Pines Pass is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use our mobile application and services.

2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register via Base44 or Google Authentication, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture.

Contact Information: We collect your mobile phone number when you or a registered user (via an invitation) provides it to facilitate group messaging.

User-Generated Content: We store your message history and group interactions to provide a continuous experience across your devices.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to:

Facilitate peer-to-peer and group messaging.

Send functional SMS notifications (reminders, group updates) triggered by other users.

Authenticate your identity and secure your account.

Note: We do not use your phone number for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. SMS Messaging & Consent
Provision of Numbers: Phone numbers are provided directly by the user or by a friend/group member to invite the user to a specific group.

Masking: To protect your privacy, sender phone numbers are masked by our system. Recipients will see messages originating from our dedicated Toll-Free number.

Opt-Out: You may opt-out of SMS at any time by:

Replying STOP to any text message received.

Adjusting the "SMS Notifications" toggle within the App Settings.

Carrier Disclosure: Standard message and data rates may apply.

5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Specifically, no mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties except as necessary to provide the SMS service (i.e., our service provider, Twilio).

6. Data Retention & Security
We use Base44’s secure infrastructure and industry-standard encryption to protect your data. Message history is retained to provide you with a record of your group conversations. You may request account deletion at any time through the App Settings.
